“ Full bar, a good beer selection, and a great atmosphere. There are tables/booths if you want to hang out with your own crowd, or bar seating if you'd like to be social. The bartender and owner are great and will provide conversation if there's not a crowd, but most of the time there are plenty of interesting people at the bar. If you're looking for a place to hang out and watch the game, there are several TVs tuned to sports and plenty of great appetizers and drinks. But what really stands out about 7 Peaks is the food. Here in the Bay area there's a lot of diversity in restaurants and all types of different food are available. I thought I'd already tried most of it, but 7 Peaks is still surprising me. So far I've had five Nepalese dishes that are completely different than anything else I've had before, and I haven't even worked my way all the way through the menu yet. If you want to bring someone who's a little bit less adventurous, you're in luck. They still have the menu from the restaurant's previous incarnation, Up and Under Second Pitch, which I would describe as comfort food. I'm very happy to have this new addition to the neighborhood. If you live in El sobrante, or nearby in San Pablo or Richmond, you should definitely give this restaurant a try. ”
